January 5th 2013 London Seminar for
the Centenary Book.
“what we call the centenary book – whatever family members want to write about the origins and evolution of the family and its distinctive themes – is making progress. Those who have written pieces and could make it (about 10 ageing cousins) assembled on Saturday, 5 January, at Oval House, Kennington, for a day’s seminar “critiquing” each other’s drafts. More editorial work will follow. The aim is to have the book available at Easter, probable cost c. £25 per copy. Non-buyers will be excommunicated – no, sorry, just frowned at !
